RANGE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (COMPLIANCE)

Duties

Perform range safety operations functions to include on-site inspections of ranges and/or training areas.

Inspect Range Operations Support Services Contractors in accordance with the Quality Assurance Surveillance Program (QASP) to report findings to the Contracting Officer Representative.

Support Range Operations and training personnel by providing administrative and technical assistance.

Provide instructions for thorough policing of all range debris such as, ammunition, brass, trash, and/or residue by using units.

Advise units conducting training on all matters pertaining to safety such as, ammo suspension, weather warnings, heat index readings, and/or any other information to the wellbeing of personnel on the range.
