Job TitleEssential Duties and Responsibilities Include The Following, Other Duties May Be Assigned:Assemble various parts into sub or final assemblies either by hand or by use of equipment and small hand tools on a wide variety of production unitsUtilize control sheets and engineering drawings for every process/seatFollow standard work provided for each shipsetCross train on multiple processes to become flexible within the lineMentor other assemblers on processes in which you are certifiedConduct self-inspections on completed assemblies; not limited to current stationMaintain a neat, clean, and safe work area and equipmentAll work must meet quality specifications and work specifications operational proceduresCommunicate any issues with control sheets or drawings or to line lead/supervisor immediatelyCommunicate any line damages to line lead/supervisor immediatelyFollow all RECARO safety processes and policiesIdentify opportunities to reduce line scrap costSupport and maintain 5S initiativesProvide feedback to leadership on process improvementsParticipate in line and/or team meetingsOther duties and responsibilities as assigned by managementRequirementsQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education/Experience:High school diploma or GED equivalent requiredUpon hire, demonstration of mechanical aptitude and potential to assemble stationExperience with seat assembly preferredAt least 2 years of working experience in similar environment, preferably doing work of a mechanical nature (or other relevant)Ability to read and understand technical documentation such as control sheets or engineering drawings to build the product per specificationAbility to assemble product according to the product specificationsAbility to work in a team environment and support RECARO's business needsMust be able to work flexible hours on short notice and overtimeGood punctuality and attendance is requiredMust display a positive attitude
