Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze room inventory to maximize occupancy and increase average rates using yield management techniques.
• Manage group rooming lists, reservations, and employee requests efficiently through the reservations system.
• Interview, train, and supervise guest agents, providing feedback and ensuring high performance standards.
• Lead team training on IHG Rewards Club programs and additional ad-hoc training sessions.
• Review VIP and group reservations, ensuring exceptional handling and administration of guest amenities.
• Resolve guest concerns thoughtfully, applying discretion and sound judgment.

Guest Service Excellence

• Complete registration processes accurately, including room assignments and key coding.
• Promote and administer guest loyalty programs to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Provide warm welcomes and assist guests with directions, welcome packets, and special requests.
• Ensure accurate billing, process payments, and handle currency exchanges smoothly.
• Respond promptly to telephone and email inquiries, communicating guest needs to the team.

Team Leadership & Development

• Manage front office staff schedules and performance to maintain a positive work environment.
• Encourage teamwork and enthusiasm among staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Maintain clear communication channels and foster a supportive atmosphere for continuous improvement.
