Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients presenting with conditions such as respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis needs, and hypertension
• Operate and monitor patients using GE monitoring systems and standard ED equipment
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the Meditech EHR system
• Float to like assignments as needed based on unit demand and patient acuity
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality emergency care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Associate of Nursing degree or higher
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:4–5, flexible depending on acuity
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from facility to qualify for travel rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EHR strongly preferred
• Team-oriented professional with a positive attitude and high level of engagement
• Experience managing a broad patient population including pediatric, adult, and geriatric cases
