We are looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based environments to provide expert care on a part-time, contract basis. Your role will focus on helping students overcome challenges, develop essential life skills, and succeed in their academic journey.

Key Qualifications:

• Active New York Occupational Therapist license required
• Previous experience in a school setting, delivering OT services to diverse student populations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills and a passion for empowering young learners
• Flexible, adaptive, and organized approach to scheduling and documentation

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy assessments and individualized interventions for students
• Develop, implement, and monitor progress on treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Consult with teachers and staff to create supportive learning strategies and accommodations
• Complete accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in a timely manner
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations for student success
• Maintain compliance with all state and district policies and professional standards
