CT Technologist - CT Technologist


Job Details:


• Minimum 2-3 years of CT Technologist experience required
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Work with inpatient, outpatient, and ER patients including some pediatric cases (experience not required), approximately 2-3 per month, usually teenagers
• Perform general anatomy, calcium scoring, coronary studies, stroke alerts, CTA perfusion studies, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and head scans
• Perform procedural work including biopsies and drains
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Experience with GE equipment required, GE Revolution and Evo preferred
• General CT experience from a hospital setting required
• Charting system: EPIC
• Support on unit includes other CT techs, Radiology RNs, RRT, Code Blue team, and centralized transport
• No floating required
• Orientation consists of 3 shifts to learn the flow
• No weekend rotation
• No on-call responsibilities
• Holiday expectations: 1 summer and 1 winter holiday
• Cannot work more than 60 hours in a week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts per fatigue policy
• Scrub color: Any color accepted, no camo or denim
• Free parking available
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT-CT

This medical center is a large, full-service hospital equipped with 5 CT scanners and a robust radiology department. The facility supports a wide range of imaging needs from routine outpatient studies to complex procedural cases and emergency stroke alerts. The department is well-staffed with a multidisciplinary team including radiology RNs, respiratory therapy, and a dedicated Code Blue team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
