RN - NICU

Pediatric/NICU Registered Nurse (RN)

The Pediatric/NICU Registered Nurse (RN) position is available within our Pediatrics Department. This role requires a dedicated professional to provide high-quality care to pediatric patients, including those in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Shift Details

• Options for shifts: 3x12s or 4x12s
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
• Floating Required: Will work in both the Pediatrics department and NICU

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1.5 years of relevant nursing experience required

General Requirements

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Requests for time off must include a commitment to work at least 2 out of 3 major holidays

Job Responsibilities

The Pediatric/NICU RN will be responsible for:

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients
• Administering medications and treatments as per physician orders
• Monitoring patient conditions and reporting changes to the healthcare team
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Educating families regarding care plans and health needs
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the department

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license
• Experience in pediatric and/or NICU settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
