You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitor and vendor access, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of gates, dock areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity.
• Support trailer yard, shipping, and receiving operations by observing vehicle movement, checking required paperwork, and reporting security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
