You'll perform inspections and testing throughout the manufacturing process from incoming materials through finished products while working with blueprints, precision measuring equipment, CMMs, and quality documentation. This is an excellent opportunity to build your quality career in a precision manufacturing environment.Compensation & Schedule$24$28/hour, depending on experience+$2/hour second-shift premiumMondayThursday2:45 PM12:45 AMThree-day weekends every weekWhat You'll Be DoingInspect incoming, in-process, and finished materials, parts, and componentsRead and follow work instructions, job travelers, blueprints, engineering drawings, and specificationsSelect and use appropriate gauges, scales, measuring tools, and inspection equipmentPerform visual inspections for product conformanceRun CMMs in a production environmentVerify calibration status of inspection equipment and materialsAccurately document dimensions, quantities, inspection results, accepted parts, and rejected partsMaintain quality records and verify production documentation for complianceWork with quality, engineering, and operations teams to resolve quality issuesAssist with supplier quality and corrective/preventive action initiativesSupport Lean and 5S initiatives while maintaining a clean and safe work environmentWhat You BringHigh school diploma or equivalentBasic math skills, including decimalsMechanical aptitudeStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to follow written instructions and established proceduresReliable attendance and punctualityWillingness to learn, ask questions, and work effectively under supervisionProfessional, cooperative approach when working with othersExperience That Will Help You Stand OutManufacturing experience within aerospace, medical, or another highly regulated industryExperience operating a CMMAbility to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&TFamiliarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or ISO 13485If "close enough" has never really been good enough for you, we should talk.
