Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ Years License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Medical-Surgical experience Description: Must be available to start within 7-10 days from offer acceptance. All travelers must have required certifications prior to start. All clinical staff on assignment must be checked against the applicable abuse registry prior to start date. Results are required before the start of the assignment. The facility provides inpatient and outpatient services. It is a 95-bed, accredited acute care facility. The unit includes a combination of geriatric and adult patient populations. Typically, only 3-4 pediatric patients are seen per year. Required certifications must be held by all registered nurses. Staff may be placed on call or floated depending on census. Rotating weekend hours are expected, with a schedule that may require more frequent weekend shifts. Patient ratios are 1:5. Equipment used includes telemetry and vital machines. Electronic health records system in use is Medhost. Professional appearance is expected; scrub color is not restricted, but print scrubs are not acceptable. This position is a replacement for permanent staff.
