About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Medical Director for its Cardiovascular Service Line. The successful candidate will be a physician leader with a strong background in various cardiology specialties, including general cardiology, interventional cardiology, structural heart, electrophysiology, and cardiothoracic surgery. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of cardiovascular care within a mission-driven, patient-centered environment. The EMD will be responsible for strategic and clinical leadership, guiding the planning and implementation of care delivery with a focus on clinical excellence, community service, safety, and innovation. A key aspect of the position is the transformational adoption of digital technologies in cardiovascular medicine and surgery, as well as the continuous improvement of patient and clinician experiences. Applicants for the EMD position at the company's Cardiovascular Service Line should be board-certified in a cardiovascular-based subspecialty and have a proven track record of leadership in developing advanced clinical programs and achieving superior patient outcomes. The role requires a balance of visionary leadership and hands-on clinical engagement, including the maintenance of an active clinical practice. The ideal candidate will also be adept at ensuring operational structures support sustainable growth, including the recruitment of new physicians and the optimization of service delivery.
