Job Description
Join Our Dynamic Level III NICU Team!


- Position: Level III NICU RN
- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Location: A leading Children's Hospital / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center

Key Highlights:
- Exciting Opportunities: Float between various units, gaining diverse experience.
- Scheduling Flexibility: Self-scheduling with 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period.
- Contract Length: Open to longer than 13-week contracts for your convenience.
- Patient Ratios: 1:2-4, ensuring ideal patient care.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years in NICU; Level III experience preferred for our Level IV unit.
- Certifications: BLS and NRP Advanced required.
- Skills Needed:
- Administration of blood & blood products
- Arterial line management
- Central Line/Implanted Line Care
- IV management and medication administration
- Neonatal Sepsis and hypo/hyperglycemia management
- Support for breastfeeding and developmentally appropriate care

Unit Details:
- Daily Census: 35 patients
- Beds Available: 43 in the NICU
- Diagnoses: Prematurity, respiratory distress, sepsis, hypoglycemia, surgical interventions, and more.
- Support Services: Interpretation services available for enhanced patient care.

Additional Information:
- Orientation: 12 hours provided to ensure a smooth start.
- Requirements for Submission:
- Response to prior employment at any affiliated facilities.
- Two references from the past three years covering at least one year.
- Must have Compact license in hand at submission.

Candidates Note:
- Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities.
- Ensure all scheduling requests are submitted upfront for consideration.
