Physician Assistant for Orthopaedic Urgent Care

Description Orthopaedic Urgent Care (walk in) Clinic is seeking a part time physician assistant (PA) to join our ortho urgent care team in our Wellington and Palm Beach Gardens locations. Must be able to evaluate and treat orthopedic conditions. Digital X-ray onsite. Job Description Job Description Clinic hours Monday- Friday: 4pm-8pm, Saturday: 8am-2pm. Essential Job Responsibilities Conduct physical examinations, assess health / condition status, prescribe necessary medications, treat aliment appropriately. Consult with physician as needed. Triage patients and evaluates problem. Responds to emergencies. Communicate with patient on continuation of care and follow up requirements. Documents patient information and care in medical record. Requirements Education: Active PA license required. Experience: Minimum of one year of recent experience working in a clinical setting. Orthopedic experience a plus. Athena (EMR) experience a plus!
