The engineer will be a highly motivated self-starter who will be capable of providing technical leadership to complex, multi-discipline projects, providing mentoring to other engineers, and driving innovation. The engineer will be expected to represent the organization as a prime customer contact on existing products and new designs, including making presentations to customers.In this high visibility role, the Principal Systems Engineer will coordinate with a cross-functional design team of hardware, software, and test engineers. This role interfaces with design engineers, operations, quality, program management, business development, and customers to establish requirements for new programs, execute existing developments, and support in-service products. The candidate should have skills and experience in the major disciplines of systems engineering: modeling and simulation, systems architecture development, requirements development/management, and validation and verification.What You Will Do:Confidently provide clear, concise communications with peers and Collins leadership.Pursue cost saving opportunities to maximize project profitability.Monitor and assess system issues;
