Senior Project Coordinator

We are pleased to offer the opportunity to work as a Senior Project Coordinator within the DuPage County Department of Community Services. The Senior Project Coordinator will be working within the Housing Supports and Self Sufficiency Unit.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists with the implementation of system-level initiatives within the Continuum of Care (CoC).
• Assists with development, updates, and communication of COC continuous improvement activities to COC members and other stakeholders.
• Acts as liaison for the COC, taking direction from the COC Planner, to support collaboration and coordination across the homelessness crisis response system.
• Facilitates CoC meetings and workgroups as assigned including support for the Lived Experience Advisory Committee (LEAC).
• Organizes and maintains related project records and documentation.
• Applies knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations to support system-level alignment with the Home Illinois Plan and Homelessness Prevention Act, quality improvements and policy interpretation for CoC stakeholders.
• Participates in data analysis with HMIS staff and CoC stakeholders.
• Prepares and presents reports, communicates performance data, technical assistance, and other guidance to CoC partners and CoC committees.
• Tracks performance, assures timely completion of compliance activities, maintains documentation, and completes reports.
• Contributes recommendations for enhancement of procedures and system coordination strategies.
• Maintains assigned system-level documentation, including records related to committee operations, outreach coordination, and other activities supporting CoC administrative and technical capacity building.
• Prepares and presents information on programs to a broad range of CoC stakeholders.

• Experience engaging with homelessness crisis response systems

Requirements Include

Education and/or Experience

Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Public or Business Administration, Planning or related field and one year of experience with supporting grant or program administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must possess and maintain in good standing a valid Illinois driver's license.
