Position Summary The Roofing Foreman is responsible for overseeing field crews, coordinating daily work activities, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining a safe jobsite, and completing projects on schedule. This position requires a strong background in commercial roofing systems, leadership ability, and a commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise roofing crews on commercial and industrial projects. Plan daily work activities and coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and jobsite logistics. Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems, including BUR, EPDM, TPO, PVC, and sheet metal roofing systems. Ensure all work is completed according to project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and company quality standards. Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Train, mentor, and develop crew members to improve productivity and workmanship. Monitor project progress and communicate effectively with Project Managers, Superintendents, General Contractors, and company leadership. Maintain accurate daily reports, time records, and jobsite documentation. Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays and maximize efficiency. Maintain a professional relationship with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors. Qualifications Qualified applicants must: Have a minimum of three (3) years of recent verifiable experience in commercial roofing installation. Have demonstrated experience assisting or leading roofing crews and managing jobsite operations. Possess hands-on experience with one or more of the following systems: Built-Up Roofing (BUR) EPDM TPO PVC Architectural and commercial metal roofing systems Strong understanding of commercial roofing installation methods, safety practices, and quality standards. Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and manufacturer installation requirements. Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and strong problem-solving skills. Work effectively as part of a team while providing leadership and direction to others. Be willing to work overtime and Saturdays during peak construction seasons. Possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
