Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A district in Bellwood, located just outside of Chicago, is actively seeking Special Education Teachers for multiple openings across K–12 grade levels. We are especially interested in connecting with travel educators looking to explore a new district while receiving the benefits of a travel assignment.

Qualified travel candidates may be eligible for relocation assistance, housing stipends, and other travel-related compensation packages.

Location : Bellwood, IL

Schedule : Full-Time

School Year : 2026–2027

Openings : Multiple positions available across K–12

Pay Package Examples : We have already put together a package that equates to a take home of $1,700 per week AFTER TAX

Program Overview :

• Delivering specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals

• Supporting students through push-in and pull-out service models

• Collaborating with general education teachers and multidisciplinary teams

• Monitoring student progress and maintaining compliance documentation

• Supporting academic achievement, executive functioning, and access to grade-level curriculum

Qualifications :

• Active Special Education teaching license

• School-based experience preferred

• Experience with IEP development and implementation

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
