Description - What Your Role Entails

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-all while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, diagnose errors, and execute preventative maintenance along with calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Engage in specimen collection and efficiently prepare samples for testing as needed.
• Document all procedures meticulously, oversee the training of new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining the highest lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Certification must be maintained throughout your tenure.
