Description - What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and complex laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following prescribed protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and conduct regular maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and preparation of samples for analysis as required.
• Document all processes thoroughly, guide new staff or students, and help maintain high-quality lab standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe laboratory environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout employment.
