Software Engineer, Enterprise Corrections

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure, performant, tested features for Corrections Solutions products.
• Write maintainable code, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with Product Management and Engineering.
• Design and integrate Web Services and APIs as part of product development.
• Work with relational databases to build, optimize, and maintain data-driven features.
• Use and maintain AI-assisted, agentic coding workflows to generate, test, debug, and optimize software.
• Automate and improve build and deployment processes.
• Identify technical debt and implement solutions that improve team productivity.
• Participate in on-call rotations for product, security, and urgent engineering issues.
• Create documentation for recurring issues, knowledge transfer, and standard procedures.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional software development experience, including designing, building, and maintaining SaaS applications.
• Understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and scalable architecture.
• Experience with relational database schema design, querying, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and cloud-native development practices.
• Experience with agentic coding tools and AI-assisted software development workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps workflows.
• Ability to communicate, solve problems, collaborate cross-functionally, and deliver quality software in an Agile environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Node.js is preferred.
• Familiarity with Web Services, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and build and deployment automation is preferred.
