Tech - Surgical

Job Summary:


The Surgical Tech will assist in surgical operations by preparing operating rooms, passing instruments, and ensuring sterile techniques are maintained. This role supports surgical teams to deliver efficient patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile and available.
• Hand surgical instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain sterile fields and adhere to infection control protocols throughout surgical procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning and setup before surgeries and clean up post-operation.
• Document surgical equipment usage and procedural details in accordance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely and safe delivery of surgical care.

Qualifications:

• Hold current BLS, NBSTA, and DORA certifications; required for employment.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 1 year of experience as a surgical technologist.
• Possess strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical procedures, and instrumentation.
• Show proficiency in operating room equipment, including Stryker systems.
• Exhibit excellent teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
