Project Accounting Supervisor

DescriptionKforce's client, one of New York's most respected Real Estate Developers, seeks a Project Accounting Supervisor. This role offers competitive compensation/benefits, a great work environment and lots of visibility and potential to advance.Responsibilities:* Direct supervision of personnel including Project Accountants and Accounts Payable Associates* Project Accounting Supervisor will review and ensure accuracy and integrity of AIA invoice billing* Review and verify billing for fee percentage and insurance* Liaise with clients and monitor collection of billing* In charge of outstanding accounts receivables -manage follow-up inquiries to clients* Monitor cash flow and communicate to senior management* Participate in monthly financial meetings with project managers for monitor progress of project and ensure proper and accurate billing and pay application to client per contract terms* Review and interpret contracts, subcontractor documents, payment terms, insurance, and bond requirements* Review and verify accuracy of final AIA payment application from trade subcontractors* Liaise with vendors and respond to inquiries from general contractors and project managers* In charge of outstanding accounts payables* As a Project Accounting Supervisor, you will monitor weekly check runs and wire transfers* Responsible for close out of the projects upon their completion* Assist with the monthly close process and financial reporting for the CompanyRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred* 7+ years of construction/project accounting experience* Experience with Sage 300 (Timberline accounting software) and Procore (project management software)* Strong communication skills; Both verbal and written* Proficient at an intermediate level with MS Excel* Able to analyze raw data and present it in a meaningful manner to upper management* Willing to work in office 5 days in midtown ManhattanJob TypeDirect HireCompensation107950 - $146050
