Female Behavior Technician (BT)

ABA SHINE is seeking a compassionate and dependable Behavior Technician (BT) to provide Behavior Respite (BR) support to a young adult in San Ramon. The position will initially begin with weekend hours, with the potential for additional hours as the BT builds rapport and trust with the client and family.

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, attentive supervision and caregiver-relief support.
• Assist with daily living activities and routines as needed.
• Implement behavioral and safety strategies according to the client's support plan.
• Use a patient, compassionate, and proactive approach.
• Communicate professionally with the family and clinical team.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, caring, patient, and comfortable supporting a young adult with behavioral and daily living needs. ABA/RBT or experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.

• 1+ Year Experience Required

Job Type: Part-time or Full Time Salary: $33.00 - $37.00 per hour

Patient demographics: Children and young adults

Schedule: After school, some night shifts.

Travel requirement: No travel

We use clients' strengths to help teach new skills and support them in overcoming their challenges. We start our teaching by targeting fundamental skills and building on to new and complex skills. Every client has unique needs, and ABA SHINE tailors intervention programs to increase desired behaviors and decrease unwanted behavior. Eventually, ABA SHINE's focal point is that all clients reach their full potential.
