We're looking for compassionate and dependable Behavior Technicians in Fremont, CA who are passionate about working with children and making a meaningful difference in their everyday lives. As a Behavior Technician, you'll work one-on-one with clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You'll help children build meaningful skills in areas such as communication, social interaction, independence, and adaptive behavior while celebrating their progress along the way.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide one-on-one therapy in client homes, schools, clinics, and community settings throughout the Fremont area.
• Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based ABA strategies to support skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Collect accurate and timely data during each session to track client progress.
• Communicate client progress, observations, and changes in behavior to the supervising BCBA.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, teachers, and other members of the treatment team to promote consistency across settings.
• Support children in developing communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development.
• Receive regular supervision, coaching, and feedback from your BCBA.
• Build positive and professional relationships with clients and their families.
• Provide support and education to caregivers as directed by the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all company and clinical procedures.
• Uphold a professional, compassionate, and respectful approach in every client interaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Behavioral Science, or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Experience working with children with autism or special needs is a plus, but not required.
• Previous ABA experience is a plus.
• RBT certification is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel between client locations as needed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a clinical team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
• Dependability and a commitment to providing consistent care to our clients and families.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the field of ABA.

Behavior Technicians may provide services across a variety of settings, including client homes, schools, clinics, and community environments throughout Fremont and surrounding areas. The position may involve standing, walking, playing, and participating in physical activities with clients.
