• Cleaning and sanitizing : Washing dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and ensuring they are properly sanitized

• Operating dishwashing machines : Loading and unloading dishwashing machines, and changing loads as needed

• Maintaining the kitchen : Keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and free of trash

• Storing items : Putting clean dishes, utensils, and equipment away in designated storage areas

• Helping with food preparation : Assisting with food preparation, handling food deliveries, and assembling food for customers

Sanitizing other areas : Sanitizing areas beyond the kitchen, such as bathrooms and the restaurant lobby

Restocking supplies : Restocking supplies in the kitchen and restaurant

Following health and safety regulations : Adhering to food safety guidelines and health and safety regulations

Training : Participating in regular training to improve skills and knowledge of kitchen operations

Dishwashers should have the following skills and abilities:
Attention to detail : Be able to notice and address even small cleanliness issues
Physical stamina : Be able to stand for long periods and handle heavy items
Time management : Be able to complete tasks quickly and efficiently, especially during peak hours
Teamwork : Be willing to assist other kitchen staff and work as part of a team
