Base pay range $45.00/hr - $100.00/hr Position Chemical Engineering Tutor (Full Time) Type Hourly Contract Compensation $45–$100/hour Location Remote Commitment 20-40 hours/week Role Responsibilities Scientific Annotation: Translate, annotate, and synthesize complex chemical engineering concepts into clear, structured rubrics and documentation for AI training. AI Model Enhancement: Apply advanced chemical engineering expertise to refine AI model reasoning, test performance, and provide targeted feedback on system outputs. Content Development: Write and structure detailed chemical engineering explanations, problem sets, and analytical reviews for use by next-generation AI systems. Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams and reviewers to improve content accuracy, optimize workflows, and align deliverables with engineering standards. Requirements Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field. Expertise in chemical engineering domains (process, design, analytical, materials, thermodynamics, kinetics, or systems). Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken). Strong analytical, reasoning, and independent problem-solving abilities. Experience in teaching, academic writing, research mentoring, or professional documentation is valued. Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment and manage deadlines. Preferred Qualifications PhD in Chemical Engineering. Professional experience applying chemical engineering principles to real-world problems. Published research in reputable scientific journals or outlets. Prior experience as an AI tutor, technical writer, or educator.
