Leasing Consultant

Residential Leasing ConsultantCapano Management is seeking a Residential Leasing Consultant to be the face of our community, responsible for assisting prospective residents in finding their ideal home. Our Residential Leasing Consultants are the first impression to potential and current residents. Their primary responsibilities are to ensure the satisfaction of our residents while also meeting leasing, retention and occupancy goals for the community. This individual will have excellent customer service skills, think outside the box, have the ability to build lasting relationships and exude professionalism in all interaction.Role and ResponsibilitiesManage the leasing process from tour to move-in including closing the sale, completing lease documents and inspecting units to ensure a great move-in experienceShowcase the value of the community features as they relate to the customer needsUse a customer focused attitude year round to ensure a smooth renewal process for existing residentsUtilize and establish creative marketing and social media strategies to increase property trafficSupport occupancy and retention goals by following up with potential and current residentsUse problem solving skills and best judgment to handle unpredictable situations as they ariseMaintain accurate and in-depth knowledge of the community and competitors in the industry to give potential residents all the information they need to make their decisionPromote positive resident relations through courteous and timely response to resident needs and concernsDemonstrate strong attention to detail while preparing lease documents, resident files, applications for approval and related bookkeeping tasksCollaborate with team members to plan and organize resident eventsWill assist in other projects and activities as assignedQualifications and Preferred SkillsWork a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel & OutlookStrong written and verbal communication skillsLeasing and/or property management experience not requiredExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlinesExhibits behaviors of honesty, commitment to goal achievement and effective relationships with colleaguesSelf-start with the ability to quickly adapt to new circumstances as they ariseAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality keeping all account information confidential and handle discrete matter appropriatelyEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma required, Degree preferredOne year of experience in sales, hospitality and/or customer serviceFull Time Employment Benefits:Capano offers competitive compensation and benefit package to full time employees which includes: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability benefits, 401(k) Match, Paid Time Off and a number of company sponsored events.Capano Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values and encourages diversity.
