Security Officer - Armed Patrol Community

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Community in Boca Raton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed officer in a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with outstanding communication and customer service. This is an armed and driving post for a professional who values teamwork, acts with integrity, and brings a reliable, people-first approach to every shift.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout residential communities, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit activity at gates and other access points, verifying credentials and/or visitor information in accordance with location protocols.
- Support access control, incident response, and after-hours security-related operations while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 or more years of law enforcement, corrections and/or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and unarmed guard card.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Bachelors Degree in criminal justice
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
