Part-time Position. Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays Only

Responsible for daily maintenance and cleanliness of The Spa including salon and treatment rooms, locker rooms, office spaces, reception desk, and relaxation areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Arrives promptly at scheduled time.
2. General duties include cleaning bathrooms and locker rooms, mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, emptying and cleaning all water dispensers.
3. Stocks lockers and treatment rooms with linens and toiletries between services and at the end of day.
4. After each service, disinfects sandals, collects and carts linens and assists laundry staff when needed. Notifies the Spa Manager when linen and cleaning supply inventory is low.
5. Dusts all furniture surfaces and product shelves, sweeps, and tidies all areas throughout work schedule. Spot cleans carpets as needed.
6. Maintains the cleanliness of the breakroom to include washing cups/dishes.
7. Empties garbage from all areas throughout the day and at the end of day.
8. Restocks beverage station, orders fruit and distilled water from Purchasing Manager.
9. Wipes down showers after each use. Thoroughly cleans showers at end of day.
10. Deep cleans behind furniture, baseboards, and fixtures on a monthly basis or as needed.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
