Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring specialized surgical experience and NC or compact RN licensure.

Job Details

• Work in the Operating Room (Surgery Unit) of an acute care hospital,
• 3-bed unit serving all patient ages,
• Uses Cerner EMR,
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM,
• Every other weekend or as-needed weekend hours,
• Call requirements of approximately 6 shifts per month, including 1 weekend per month,
• Floating as needed, with the understanding that this is a specialized OR role rather than a floor unit,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required,
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and CPI/HWC/MAB,
• 1-2 years of relevant Operating Room experience required,
• Specialized surgical/OR nursing background required,

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care and support in the Operating Room across a range of surgical procedures,
• Report to the Director of Surgical Services,
• Scrubs are provided; no casual attire permitted,
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate,
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months,
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
