WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an Energy, Infrastructure & Mining Trade Advisor, you will play a key role in helping French companies successfully enter and grow in North America. Your responsibilities will include: Identifying and engaging prospective partners, customers, and stakeholders through targeted outreach campaigns (calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking activities); Qualifying business opportunities and assessing market potential for French companies; Understanding prospects' needs, challenges, and strategic priorities; Generating and securing high‑value business meetings between French companies and North American decision‑makers; Building and maintaining a strong network of industry contacts and strategic accounts; Supporting and leading business development projects across the industrial, infrastructure, and mining sectors; Organizing and delivering trade missions, seminars, networking events, and B2B programs; Representing Business France and participating in major North American industry events and trade shows; Collaborating closely with colleagues across the U.S., Canada, and France; Participating in a structured training program, including sessions in France, to develop your expertise and long‑term career growth.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; Strong presentation and public speaking abilities; Self‑motivated, proactive, and eager to learn; Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects; Understanding of business processes and organizational structures; 3–5 years of professional experience minimum; Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Authorization to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications Proven work experience in Business Development, Sales, Consulting, or a similar client‑facing role; Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, Pardot, LinkedIn, MS Excel, and business intelligence platforms such as ZoomInfo, Nexis, or PitchBook; Experience using sales and marketing engagement tools such as Yesware, HubSpot Sequences, Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, or similar campaign automation platforms; French speaker is a plus; A business understanding of the Industry, Infrastructure, Mining or Energy sectors; International experience is a plus.
