Job Title: Salesforce Business Analyst Location: Washington, D.C. (Hybrid – On-site 3 days per week) Overview We are seeking a highly collaborative Salesforce Business Analyst with a strong foundation in Agile methodologies to support the successful delivery of Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud (formerly Community Cloud) solutions. This role is central to bridging business needs with technical execution, focusing on iterative delivery, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced Agile environment and bring a proactive, solution‑oriented approach to driving digital transformation through the Salesforce platform. This is a hybrid position based in Washington, D.C. requiring on‑site work three days per week. Responsibilities The Business Analyst will act as a key Agile team member, contributing to all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives. Translate business objectives into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria to guide development and QA teams. Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to groom and prioritize backlogs based on evolving business needs and sprint capacity. Map business processes and identify automation opportunities within Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud. Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, define MVP scope, and ensure alignment on expected outcomes. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including developers, architects, UX designers, and testers to validate and deliver solutions iteratively. Support UAT planning and execution, ensuring delivered functionality meets business expectations. Maintain detailed documentation of business processes, configurations, and functionality as part of sprint deliverables. Contribute to continuous improvement of Agile practices across the project or program. Stay up to date on Salesforce platform capabilities, especially within Service Cloud and Experience Cloud, to advise on scalable solution options. Required Qualifications U.S. citizenship is required. Must be able to pass a federal background investigation. A bachelor’s degree is required. At least three years of experience as a Business Analyst on Agile teams, preferably in a Salesforce environment. Proven ability to write clear, actionable user stories and manage backlogs using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps. Experience supporting Salesforce Service Cloud and/or Experience Cloud implementations is essential. Strong facilitation skills with experience leading sprint ceremonies and stakeholder engagement sessions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability to engage both technical teams and business users. Familiarity with Agile metrics, velocity tracking, and iterative delivery best practices. Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst certification. Experience supporting federal clients or working in regulated industries. Exposure to Omni‑Channel, Case Management, Knowledge, or Customer Portals.
