This role helps prepare older youth in the Vocation Education Services for Older Youth (VESOY) program for successful futures by providing career exploration, workforce development, and hands-on learning opportunities. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, community partners, and employers, this position connects youth with meaningful work-based learning experiences that build the skills, confidence, and experience needed for long-term success. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating and administering the Career and Technical Education program for VESOY youth. Building and maintaining VESOY work programs on the Oak Creek Campus. Facilitating and teaching NIOSH training and Safety Vignettes in collaboration with Unit Leadership Teams. For more information please visit Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills; OR Any combination of experience or education equivalent to three years technical-level experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification. Special Qualifications: Driver License Required: Driving is an essential function of this position. A valid driver license and an acceptable driving record are required for this position. Experience performing these duties within the Department of Corrections or a juvenile justice setting is preferred. Must be a positive role model for other staff and youth.
