Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a School Psychologist in a vibrant K-12 educational setting near Somerset, MA. Work closely with educators, families, and students, using your expertise to make a lasting difference in delivering high-quality psychological services. This engaging, full-time assignment begins in August 2026 and continues through June 2027, providing continuity and the chance to build strong relationships within the school community.

Qualifications:

Active School Psychologist Credential required for practice in the state
Previous experience working within K-12 settings is preferred
Solid understanding of special education procedures, IEP development, and assessment tools
Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage a caseload of around 70 students efficiently and compassionately

Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational assessments, observations, and data analysis to determine student needs
Collaborate in the development and monitoring of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Support crisis intervention and provide individual and group counseling as needed
Offer consultation services to teachers, administrators, and families to support positive learning environments
Maintain thorough and confidential student records, in compliance with regulations
Play an active role in multidisciplinary teams, ensuring student-centered solutions
