Wabtec is Now Hiring Skilled Assembler Location: Oak Creek, WI Pay Rate: $28.60 per hour Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (OT may be required) Gear Up. Clock In. Own It. We need dependable people who know how to hustle. As a Skilled Assembler you'll assemble products, work with tools, and keep the crew on pace. Skills That Make You Stand Out High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in mechanical assembly, welding, or electrical wiring Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and voltage systems preferred Comfortable using computers for work orders and job tracking Forklift and crane operation experience a plus Strong attention to detail and safety Ability to work independently and on a team Good time management and problem-solving skills Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent bending, climbing, and standing Full range of motion and visual acuity required Work That Matters Read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, schematics, and work instructions Assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components accurately and efficiently Perform electrical wiring, including point-to-point and harness wiring for panels and junction boxes Execute welding tasks (fit-up, layout, MIG/TIG as required) based on drawings and specifications Operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and jib cranes safely Cut, fit, and fabricate components as needed Assist with machine rebuilds, adjustments, and preparation for shipment Maintain quality standards and meet production goals Complete production documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives Benefits Our partner company can provide you with the vital benefits that you deserve.
