Role Overview The OR Tech I collaborates with the surgical team, working under a Registered Nurse's guidance to assist during surgeries and ensure patient care before, during, and after procedures. The OR Tech I collaborates with the surgical team, working under a Registered Nurse's guidance to assist during surgeries and ensure patient care before, during, and after procedures. Key Responsibilities Assist with a variety of surgical procedures across service lines such as robotics, vascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, plastic, and trauma. Prepare and maintain a sterile environment, handle surgical instruments, and support the surgeon and RN throughout the operation. Communicate effectively with team members and make calls as needed. Work independently, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities. Qualifications & Skills High School diploma or equivalent and completion of a Surgical Technician training program. 2-3 years of relevant experience with strong knowledge of scrub procedures. Certified Surgical Technician and NBSTSA Certification are required. Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additional Details Shift: Day, with alternating weekends, holidays, and call coverage.
