Surgical Services Institute Opportunity
Novant Health is building a premier Surgical Services Institute across the South Carolina region, with a focus on Hilton Head, Bluffton, and Beaufort markets. We are actively developing a pipeline of surgeons and procedural specialists to support continued growth across our expanding network of hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, and specialty care sites. What You'll Do:
- Provide surgical and procedural care in hospital and/or ambulatory settings
- Perform procedures consistent with training and specialty focus
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including anesthesia, hospital medicine, and specialty services
- Support perioperative care, patient safety, and quality outcomes
- Participate in service line development and expansion of surgical programs
- Contribute to community engagement and access to care initiatives
- Maintain a strong commitment to Novant Health's quality and safety standards
What We're Looking For:
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of medicine
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Fellowship training (for subspecialty roles, as applicable)
Licensure / Certification:
- Board certified or board eligible in applicable surgical specialty
- Current MD/DO license (or eligibility) in South Carolina
- DEA license
Experience & Skills:
- Strong procedural and surgical skillset within specialty
- Interest in program growth and service line development
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
