Outpatient Internal Medicine Physician

Position Summary

The organization is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Outpatient Internal Medicine Physician to join its expanding primary care team in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

This full-time opportunity offers a 100% outpatient practice with an emphasis on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and continuity of care. Physicians will work alongside an experienced team of primary care providers and specialists to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment.

2026 Internal Medicine residents and experienced Internal Medicine physicians are encouraged to apply.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care for adult patients
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Perform routine wellness visits, preventive screenings, and annual physical examinations
• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based medicine
• Manage chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, COPD, and other complex medical conditions
• Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients on preventive care, wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote exceptional patient outcomes
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on long-term health and wellness

Qualifications

• Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Training: Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency by 2026
• Licensure: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine; eligible for South Carolina medical licensure
• Experience: Experienced Internal Medicine physicians and 2026 graduating residents are encouraged to apply.
