Hospitalist | Full-Time

A well-established, nonprofit healthcare organization in the Bluffton, South Carolina area is actively seeking a full-time Hospitalist Physician to join its growing inpatient medicine team. 2026 Internal Medicine residents are encouraged to apply.

Position Overview

Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care for hospitalized adult patients

Manage patient admissions, daily rounding, treatment planning, and discharge coordination

Collaborate closely with specialists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary care teams

Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care in a modern hospital setting

Utilize an integrated EMR system to maintain accurate and timely documentation

Flexible scheduling designed to support work-life balance

Practice within a collaborative, physician-led inpatient program

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine

Eligible for South Carolina medical licensure

Active or eligible DEA registration

Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills
