There may be an opening that we have not postedyet. We are looking for a DELI COOK ASSOCIATE to join our Rowe's team. This position prepares hot and cold deli food, as well as catering and delivery orders. Promotes customer service by taking and filling customer order requests and maintaining attractive product presentation and providing exceptional customer service. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide exceptional service including greeting customers and answering questions, with a positive attitude. May operate a slicer, hot oven, fryer, microwave, cutting tools, scale, and other Deli equipment. Ensures food handling and food safety procedures are adhered to. Stocks, rotates, and monitors product temperatures before and after cooking. Maintain excellent standards of sanitation and freshness. Assists in other duties as assigned. Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures. Assists as needed to ensure the success of the store. Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Ability to deliver friendly and prompt customer service. Ability to read, write, and do simple math. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to work well with others and work well as a team. A passion for serving others. Food Prep experience is preferred. Physical/ Sensory Demands Deli cooks perform their duties primarily in the Deli section. Work involves walking, bending, standing, lifting, and carrying products up to 60lbs, hand-eye coordination, and interaction with customers and associates. Frequent exposure to hot surfaces, extreme hot or cold non weather conditions and cleaning agents. Duties also include frequent interaction with customers and fellow associates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
