Staff AccountantFull-Time | On-Site/HybridLocation: Buckhead, GARate: $60,000 - $70,000Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefitsPosition SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our accounting team's day-to-day operations. Reporting to the Accounting Manager and working closely with Senior Accountants, Accounts Payable, and Treasury, this role contributes to the accuracy and integrity of our financial records across the full accounting cycle. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in general accounting, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is eager to grow within a structured finance function.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and record journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger activityReconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other general ledger accounts on a monthly basisAssist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processesPrepare and analyze financial reports and supporting schedulesReview financial data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies as they ariseSupport accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed, including collections activityPerform monthly inventory reconciliationsBook transactions and prepare reconciliations across multiple currencies including USD, CAD, EUR, and GBP as neededMaintain accounting documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policiesAssist with audit preparation and provide requested financial documentationIdentify and contribute to process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracySupport ad hoc reporting and projects as assignedQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience1–3 years of experience in a staff accountant or general accounting roleSolid understanding of the P&L and balance sheetStrong knowledge of general accounting principles and practicesExperience with account reconciliations and journal entriesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgmentHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsAble to work both independently and as part of a collaborative teamPreferredExperience with NetSuiteAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
