Job Description

Fairfield County MSP is looking for a highly qualified Small and Medium Business Systems Engineer. Candidates must demonstrate a track record of implementing Microsoft technologies and consulting with firms with 50-300 employees. The candidate should be comfortable speaking to and advising small business owners as well as being able to communicate effectively between technical and business professionals. Candidates must have 5 years of professional IT experience. Previous consulting experience is a plus. Documentation skills are a necessity. The candidate should be able to:

• Review any existing Microsoft based network of 50-300 employees
• Identify strengths and weaknesses of SMB networks
• Be comfortable recommending new technologies
• Estimate the amount of time it would take to implement proposed solutions
• Travel to client sites as necessary (limited to CT, NYC and Southern Westchester)

• Microsoft Windows Server/ Azure
• Active Directory /Azure AD
• Office 365
• Nutanix HCI
• VMWare virtualization solutions
• Firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco, Meraki)
• Switching (Dell, Meraki, Cisco)
• Meraki Wireless
• Backup/DR solutions
