Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a night shift hospital position treating adult and potential pediatric patients.

Details

• Hospital setting within the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Adult patient population with potential for pediatric patients
• Night shift schedule, rotating 3x12 and 4x12 hours (19:00-7:30)
• Works an 84-hour, two-week schedule (one week of three 12-hour shifts, next week of four 12-hour shifts)
• Floating required within scope of practice
• Every other weekend required
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy required
• RRT license required if applicable; CRT accepted
• AHA BLS certification required
• Active Compact or State License in hand required at time of consideration
• Flu vaccine required; declinations not accepted, though medical and religious exemptions may be approved case-by-case

Additional Information

• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered; local candidates not accepted
• Up to 7 days of RTO considered if presented upfront; no changes accepted after submission
• Must work either a major or minor holiday during the assignment
• Travelers must work either a major or minor of every holiday
• After completing a one-year assignment, travelers must take a minimum 6-month break before returning
• Traveler pairs are accepted on a limited basis and will not be scheduled on the same shift or unit
