Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $2,373 a week in all, a taxable rate of $20.64 an hour plus $1,547 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Operating Room. This position provides perioperative nursing care across orthopedic, oncology, bariatric, vascular, neurological, trauma, and robotic procedures. The role requires scheduled daytime shifts, call coverage, and collaboration within a high-functioning surgical team.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week; Wednesdays off. Call coverage includes one shift per week after the scheduled workday for 2–4 hours and one to two 12-hour weekend shifts per month.
• Required Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Active Florida or compact Registered Nurse license at submission
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Robotic surgery experience
• Orthopedic and neurological surgical experience
• An accredited degree or at least 5 years of professional experience
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Call coverage is required. Clinical experience in orthopedic, oncology, bariatric, vascular, neurological, trauma, and robotic procedures is relevant to the role. Travelers may be assigned to other campuses within the healthcare provider’s network.
