SR Radiology Technologist

Job Description Summary This position prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures following standards and protocols set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The position requires the technologist to perform procedures in more than one modality. This role is eligible for a $15,000 sign on bonus with a one-year commitment to OhioHealth. Hours: 4–8 hour shifts. Responsibilities And Duties Conduct routine radiographic studies in diagnostics. Conduct routine and specialized fluoroscopic studies utilizing digital fluoroscope equipment; maintain proficiency in each area. Provide radiation safety for operator and patient. Place patient in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy regarding routine. Focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties as part of a High Reliability Organization (HRO). Minimum Qualifications Registered with ARRT. Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio. Graduate of an approved accredited radiography program. Valid Ohio Radiographers (ORD) certification.
