Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $70.00–$75.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night shift, 3×12 hours, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM; every third weekend required (Friday–Saturday)
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a 36 hours per week travel contract position for an ICU Registered Nurse. The role is based on the night shift and requires direct bedside care in a Medical ICU and Surgical ICU environment, with occasional float responsibilities to the ED for boarders as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ICU-level nursing care on the night shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) in a 3×12 schedule
• Maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float to the ED for boarders, as needed
• Document patient care and clinical information using Epic electronic health records system
• Cover every third weekend (Friday–Saturday)

Education Requirements

• Permanent Massachusetts (MA) RN license required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Must have previous Medical ICU experience
• Must have previous Surgical ICU experience
• Must have Epic charting experience

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccination: not required
• Night shift position with rotating weekend coverage
• Float to ED for boarders as needed

Important Notes

• Traveler must be aware of 2 pass/fail exams at orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry exam
• Both exams allow only 1 attempt — if the traveler does not pass, the contract is cancelled immediately
• Study materials will be provided between the compliance process and FDIs
