Staff Accountant
Morgan Hill, CA (Hybrid) Are you looking to join a wonderful accounting team? Do you have at least three years of accounting experience supporting as an accountant? We are looking for an accounting professional for a wonderful new job in Oakland, CA. If you have an accounting degree, have solid accounting experience for a public company, and would love to continue your growth as an accounting professional please apply now! Key Responsibilities:- Perform daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for financial planning.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Assist with audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Continuously improve accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a public company
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
