Quality Analyst - Financial Crimes

What you will do In this position, you will support high-quality fraud and AML financial crime monitoring by reviewing cases across both disciplines, identifying deviations, and strengthening investigative accuracy across operations. You will act as a key contributor in the first line of defense, assessing investigator decisions and adherence to procedures while delivering data-driven insights to Compliance and Operations teams about the overall program. By identifying quality gaps across fraud and AML workflows, you will help drive continuous improvement, standardisation, and operational excellence. You will also contribute to training enablement by providing structured feedback and actionable insights that enhance end-to-end financial crime process quality. The experience you bring 5+ years with direct, hands-on experience investigating cases across KYC, Fraud, and AML — including onboarding, due diligence, alert handling, case investigations, and SAR writing / filing (the more jurisdictions the better. A university degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, Criminology, or a related field connected to financial crime prevention. Ideally, 1–3 years of experience performing quality control reviews, peer assessments, or evaluations of investigation standards within KYC, AML, and/or fraud environments. A solid understanding of AML and KYC regulatory expectations and fraud prevention frameworks, including familiarity with FATF recommendations and relevant regional guidance. Ability to communicate investigative reasoning clearly and collaborate effectively with investigators and team leads. Strong analytical and written communication skills, with experience contributing to quality assessments, defect documentation, and reporting. You speak more than one language (German, French, and Swedish ideally). A fast learner who can pick up new typologies, systems, and regulatory changes quickly. Change happens a lot here – experience working in this type of environment (and enjoying it!) is important. Experience coaching and supporting others – you know how to build people up and help them grow. Demonstrated continuous learning – CAMS, CFE, Project Management, Masterclasses, SQL – anything that shows you are continuing to learn in this space or outside of it.
