Opportunity Information Sansum Medical Group Santa Barbara, a part of Sutter Health, is seeking a Physician with an interest in Clinical Informatics to join our innovative and collaborative multispecialty group in Santa Barbara, CA. This unique opportunity offers a blended role with 70% clinical practice and 30% informatics leadership , allowing physicians to maintain an active patient panel while driving meaningful improvements in clinical workflows, technology utilization, and patient care delivery. Physicians from primary care, pediatrics, or subspecialty backgrounds with a strong ambulatory presence are encouraged to apply. The Physician, Medical Director of Informatics serves as a physician leader and liaison between clinical teams, operations, and IT, supporting the optimization and adoption of electronic health records (EHR) and digital tools across the organization. This role combines direct patient care (0.7 FTE) with clinical informatics leadership (0.3 FTE) to advance quality, efficiency, and provider experience.
