We are looking for a dedicated RN with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the ICU specialty to provide exceptional care in a highly specialized 20-bed unit that focuses on cardiac care.\n As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for caring for patients who require a variety of open heart, vascular, and thoracic surgeries. The unit is equipped with advanced technology, including intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella devices, CRRT, and epicardial pacemakers.\n Key Responsibilities:\n \n Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Cardiac Care ICU.\n Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.\n Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.\n Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.\n \n Requirements:\n \n AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.\n CCRN certification is preferred.\n Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience.\n \n Holiday Expectations: You must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).\n GLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
